If you open your doors for business on Thanksgiving Day, don't be surprised at how busy you'll be! You'll find lots of customers that do go out for dinner on this holiday either with their own families or because they have no family in town or just don't want to cook! This is also a great month to show customer appreciation with a sweet and thoughtful thank you gift - it's the month of Thanksgiving! Check out our favorite ways to thank our customers here.
You'll have several choices in setting up your own menu from a sit down Thanksgiving dinner to creating a beautiful holiday buffet for your guests. Either way, Thanksgiving is a holiday to make special
and give thanks to your customers for their loyalty and patronage to your business.
You may also want to consider taking orders now for Thanksgiving dinner to go! Post a sign in your restaurant of the meal you'll offer and do include everything they need from the turkey and gravy, to mashed or sweet potatoes, cranberries, two vegetables, rolls and butter plus a salad and pumpkin pie for dessert!
Tools you'll need to create a Thanksgiving Dinner in your restaurant:
Roasting Pans! Roasting pans will help you cook several turkeys and we love the racks that hold the turkey up from the bottom, allowing all the yummy drippings to be saved for your delicious gravy! Check out the ExcelSteel 4 piece Stainless Steel Roaster with cover, spatula and rack for less than $25 that should easily hold at least two turkeys if not three! Get a few of them and have plenty of room to cook turkeys for your large volume restaurant.
If you already have enough roasting pans but, lack the Roasting Rack that is essential to keep your bird out of the bottom juices, check out the Calphalon Roasting Rack for less than $20. It's large enough for any size bird, non stick, easy to keep clean without scrubbing and easy to store in any of your roasting pans.
Set a pretty Thanksgiving table for your guests if you serve a buffet dinner with a Nature inspired cloth tablecloth that you can use over and over again. We love the Benson Mills Nature Leaves Tablecloth 60"x120" and we love the price!

We really love the round chafing dish shown here and use it for our vegetables, it's beautiful for stuffed mushrooms, mini quiche, stuffed banana peppers and other delicate appetizers.
For all other items on the buffet table, we love this most economical set of chafing dishes - 4 for $120!! For only $30 each, you'll have a matching set of stainless chafers to make a really beautiful table, over and over again.
We also use a chafing dish with gold accents for those special holiday parties and our guests appreciate the extra care we've taken to make everything look extra special indeed! Get one or two for your beautiful roasts, fancy potatoes or to keep an exquisite dessert warm.
