Here you'll find our best Restaurant Cleaning Supplies that are the most effective, best deals and worth the money to have all your surfaces sparkling for your customers, you and the staff. Keeping your restaurant clean is one of the most important things you can do to stay in business, grow your business and to
make a profit. It's true! Think of a restaurant that you've ever visited that wasn't clean and gleaming on your entry into the doors. Did you stay, did you use the restroom, did you eat there and would you ever return? Chances are good that you said no to all those answers and your customers act the same way and they probably talk about it to their friends - word of mouth advertising at it's worst! Check out our best tips for cleaning the restaurant and use of favorite supplies that do double duty on many of your surfaces and won't fade or destroy them - you spent a lot of money on fine tiles, granite, copper and care needs taken to make them look awesome for years to come.

If your business isn't attracting enough customers and business is down, take a look around your restaurant and decide if it's time for a good cleaning. Chances are good that you could improve the look, feel and smell of your space for your customers.

Restaurant cleaning supplies need to be professional grade, hard working, concentrated, high volume and cost effective. Here are the best cleaning supplies we use and like to get the job done and these products will all be highly rated by other customers and other restauranteurs we know too. You'll need to teach your staff how to use them properly so they don't overuse them or use them on the wrong surfaces and damage your equipment and decor. While this photo is a little dark, we can't seem to get a brighter one:( you can see the grout is clean, white) and how you want tile to look, most especially in a restaurant where you're held to a higher standard than home care. We'll try to get a better photo and will post here when we do.

Walls and Tile Floor Cleaners -
Oil Eater Cleaner Degreaser 1 Gallon - is one of the absolute best degreasers on the market today and cuts grease on your restaurant kitchen floors, entry and delivery areas, any tile walls, HVAC equipment, stainless steel, without abrasives or acids, non toxic and is safe for the environment and all your drains and plumbing.Super concentrated degreaser with a chart to explain how to dilute it for each job. Thumb's Up! Have your staff use this degreaser every day to clean all the walls and counters, cabinets and monthly all the insides of cabinets should be cleaned and washed too.
For industrial and commercial use or those that want larger volume, try the 5 Gallon Bucket of Oil Eater

Another great cleaner we love and use a lot and you can find usually in your local dollar store is Bar Keepers Friend. This cleanser is very good to clean your copper bottom pans, stainless steel pots and pans, dishwasher area, server - kitchen - bar sinks and any tile areas. The downsize is that it's a small container so you may need a lot to keep your areas clean but, it's super cheap around $1 so get some and get your crew to work cleaning:) If you can't find Bar Keepers Friend where you are, it's here too.

If you're just starting your restaurant, you can't go wrong with a Rubbermaid Commercial 26 Quart Mop Bucket and Wringer Rubbermaid Commercial 26 Quart Mop Bucket and Wringer for all your floor cleaning. We've had ours since we've opened and it's heavy duty, casters work great, rubber handle wringer is workable even for my wife (a petite 5'4" woman 125 lbs) and other female employees. I would suggest you add the Dirty Water Bucket that rests inside your cleaning bucket and keeps the clean water separated from the dirty water, otherwise you're just reusing dirty nasty water. Get a good mop handle and replace your mop heads monthly - reusable ones are best since they can get washed over and over again.

You could clean your tile floors and grout by a professional if you have the cash but, in all honesty we did that a few times and could have owned our own machine and done it anytime we wanted, several times over. We recommend you buy your own buffing machine to clean and maintain your expensive tile floors. Try the Koblenz Floor Buffer for an inexpensive model (less than $215 with Free Shipping, 4amps and all the brushes, pads and tools to get started) if you don't have too large of an area to maintain or upgrade to the Oreck Commercial Orbiter Floor Machine for just a bit more at $381, 5.5 amps, 50' power cord, larger cleaning path area at 13" and made more for commercial use. Or, just go for a heavier duty machine with interchangeable sized pads to get more work done faster with Hoover Ground Commercial Heavy Duty Multi Task Floor Machine for all your floors in one 1.5 HP unit, adjustable handle and fairly easy to adjust to with a little practice and easy maneuverability for cost of around $1200.  Keeping all your entry, kitchen, dining, bathrooms, bar and delivery areas takes work but, in the end your staff and customers will appreciate a clean eating and working environment.

Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine is our preferred carpet shampooer for taking care of large areas of deep cleaning such as the entry, dining room, coat room or other carpeted areas of your restaurant. We're in a cold, wintry and wet area of the country so our floors take a beating with snow, mud, dirt, gravel and lots of foot traffic. You may not need a big shampooer if you have a milder climate. Whatever you do, keep your floors and your restaurant clean and you'll be leaps and bounds above others that don't bother.

Create a schedule for cleaning just as you would schedule any other part of your business tasks. We use a check off list for each department of the restaurant and each staff member has assigned cleaning duties every day. Waiting to do cleaning makes it much harder on everyone instead of staying on top of it every day. If you need help with making a list, we already have one and you can email me if you'd like me to email our copy to you. healthy1chef @ yahoo.com, no strings attached, I'm here to help you.

Here's to hoping these tips help you have a sparkling clean restaurant that your customers will rave over and bring you a successful business when you combine it with our other tips.
Thanks for staying with us, we appreciate your visit.
 Cheers!
