Tax Receipts to Get your Restaurant Office Organized

When you have slow or down time in your restaurant, as the manager or owner, market your business with your social networking groups, work on your flyers, business cards, shoot an email to your customers and vendors about the newest specials and menu items -- just stay busy, do a little housekeeping and work in your office when all else is done.
YUCK, I know. We all hate to do it but, you must stay organized, make your list of to-do's and get all your receipts organized. Working on your taxes all year long will help you when tax season rolls around and you can get your information to your tax accountant and get that fat return back into your checking account!

Make sure you have a busy staff, keep them busy with things to do, organize the server area and the bar, polish silverware, dust visible entry areas and the dining room before customers arrive or anything else to clean and stay busy. Once you know the staff has things to do to stay busy, you can head to your office.

Here's a nice article to help you figure out what you really need to keep, what you can toss and it's much better to start working on your taxes any time before the due date to make life easier.

Here's the article we mentioned, hope you enjoy it: Receipts - Keep what you need for FilingTaxes.

Until next time, please take our poll at the top right of the home page and subscribe for the latest posts and as always, we love your comments so thank you in advance for taking the time to say hi!
Cheers!
